Trail passes the chalet:

• Chata pri Popradskom plese

We take the trail Tatranská Magistrála through Trigant from the mountain lake Štrbské pleso, alternatively the asphalt road from the railway station Popradské pleso. After one hour we get to the cross road near the chalet Chata pri Popradskom plese. From the cross road the trail continues in forest and scrub pine to the crossroad upon the brook Žabí potok. Here the red sign continues the north side through Kotlina Žabích plies to the chalet Chata pod Rysmi. The blue trail runs the northwest direction nearby the brook Hincov potok to the Hincova kotlina. The trail passes by mountain lakes Malé Hincove pleso (1 921 m n.m.) and Veľké Hincove pleso (1 946 m n.m.), that is the biggest and the deepest mountain lake of the High Tatras on the Slovak side. Steep zigzags go to the saddle Vyšné Kôprovské sedlo (2 180 m n.m.) and go down through the valleys Hlinská and Kôprová to Tri studničky. From the saddle we can take the red trail on the northwest side that reaches the summit Kôprovský štít (2 363 m n.m.).
To return: we return the same way or the longer alternative through the valleys Hlinská and Kôprová to Tri Studničky (5:45).

The summit offers beautiful view on peaks: Hrubô (2 172 m n.m.), Čubrinu (2 378 m n.m.), Mengusovské štíty, Rysy (2 499 m n..m), Mengusovský Volovec (2 227,5 m n.m.) a Vysokú (2 547 m n.m.).
