Trail passes the chalet:

• Chata pod Soliskom

The Predné Solisko summit is the last summit of the ridge Soliskový hrebeň, outgoing from the peak Furkotský štít (2 403,5 m n.m.).
The trail from Štrbské Pleso climbs next to the cableway to the chalet Chata pod Soliskom (1:30), use the cableway is alternative. From the chalet the trail runs to Predné Solisko (1:00).
To return we use the same way, or hike down the Furkotská valley. From the chalet under Solisko we turn west to the trail leading to the Furkotská valley. After 15min we get to the crossroad in the Furkotská valley (1 770 m n.m.). We continue one hour walking down the trail to the crossroad with Tatranská Magistrála (1 450 m n.m.). Tatranská Magistrála leads us back to Štrbské Pleso (0:30).

Furkotská valley alternative

From Štrbské Pleso we join Tatranská Magistrála direction Jamské pleso. After 45min walking we get to the cross road, take the trail leading to the Furkotská valley. After 1:15 we get to the crossroad in the Furkotská valley and hike the trail to the chalet Chata pod Soliskom (0:20). From the chalet we climb one hour the trail to the summit Predné Solisko.
To return we use the same way, the trail next to the cableway to Štrbské Pleso is alternative.

Summit view:

The summit offers beautiful view to the valleys: Furkotská dolina on the west and Mlynická dolina on the east. The ridge of the Predné Solisko continues northwest with summits: Štrbské Solisko (2 302 m n.m.), Malé Solisko (2 334 m n.m.), Veľké Solisko (2 412,5 m n.m.) and ends with the peak Furkotský štít (2 403,5 m n.m.). In the ridge from the peak Hlinská veža (2 340 m n.m.) peaks dominate at the east side: Satan (2 421,5 m n.m.), Predná bašta (2 373,5 m n.m.), Patria (2 203 m n.m.).
